A great article appeared today over at Freelance Switch, “Rules for Successful Client-Freelancer Working Relationships”. Definately give it a read.
This is a great article because it’s actually written to the client, rather than to our side. Topics range from respecting boundaries, trusting the professionalism of your contractor, paying on time and even micromanagement – how many times have we balked at the line “Can you make the logo bigger?”. This is a good resource to pass on, if you can do it without making your clients feel spoken-down-to – something that we freelancers can easily fall victim to.
