I started as a copywriter at an agency and have been working hand-in-hand with designers for the past twelve years. Like a lot of writers, I’ve always assumed daily interactions with designers was punishment for something I did in a past life. Until l met Rob. Rob was my partner in crime for about three years. We worked on every project together, and even shared a cube. Never have I seen a designer with such a high level of skill correspond with such a low level of drama and ego. Rob has a robust skill set. He’s not one of those designers who thinks he is Picasso because he resizes vectors. He can illustrate. He can code. He designs great UX. He’s a natural mentor to more junior designers. And on top of all that, he is the most cheerful, affable professional person when it comes to receiving feedback, even when it’s a great design and the feedback is clearly off-base. Rob is a diamond in the rough and anyone would be lucky to scoop him up. He is living proof that artists can be just as rational and professional as the rest of us. Grab him before he’s gone-you will never regret it.
